I am a novice so keep that in mind, as my comments are just that, from a novice :D - but my impression of the photo was "distracted" by the green guitar at first - I am always a bit stand-off-ish about the whole b/w with a splash of color thing, but thats just me, matter of opinion more than anything else... I love the expression of the musician on the left, timing and angle of the shot are great - it makes the photo very nice IMO! Somehow to me it looks a bit too tightly composed on the left side...kinda would be nice perhaps for him to have a bit more room there in front of him in the composition. ps - you know what would make this photo...some type of hair light to seperate the players from the background, even if not just a bit of ambient light somewhere on stage....hope these thoughts help...take care.
