marcadamus 1 Posted April 26, 2011 Well, you'll just have to imagine it with a big, dark border, frame and nice dim lighting. I HATE this ugly bright white background here. Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted April 26, 2011 Well, I like..it anyhow.;)..not much to change...can imagine your idea..-this is still very dramatic angle and fine tones... Good work ! br Hannu Link to comment
don_lally 0 Posted April 27, 2011 I know what your talking about Marc. I just tried to post a flower image the other day that was really bright, and the background that they use for photo.net just drained the color from the image. They should let you select what color the background is when you upload your image. I doubt it is that hard to change.Anyways still a great image. The dark shrub on light foreground equals out the dark sky, with a light patch. Kind of a yin & yang. Also the shape of the light sky in an abstract way resembles the shape of the shrub.Great work! kevin_stanley1 0 Posted April 27, 2011 nice image, I really like the abstract background and composition. I see what Lally was talking about , but I kind of think it resembles the upper half of a persons face.a very interesting image. Link to comment

steve_lowther 0 Posted April 27, 2011 that you may want to add a border here. It looks like you possess the Photo Shop skills to do it, but email me if you need any help.Otherwise, it is a very nice image. Link to comment

patflynn 0 Posted April 28, 2011 I was feeling distracted by the structure of this composition, being as it is so close to an even split and the two halves seem like they could be unrelated to each other. However, Kevin Stanley's comment breathed new life into my viewing of this image - now I am almost mesmerized by the appearance that the BG forms an anthropomorphic visage.Goes to show the value of a fresh perspective! marc_dilley1 0 Posted April 28, 2011 Your desert B&W's have always been an inspiration and I think this might be one of your best. I love the luminous look of the playa. Link to comment
