dom1 1 Posted April 23, 2011 It is the end of the Monarch season here on Maui. I watched these two go through the ritual, the chase, the air ballet, and then settle down to business. After opening the photo in LR I saw that both of these butterfly's are "battle worn". The lower one has 2/3 of it's right wing missing. The top one has a generous chunk out of it. The scales are battered. And, they are still going for it. Is there any stronger drive than procreation? Link to comment
