View large please. I used the advice in the comments I received on

"First Light" to attempt an improvement here. The improvement is in

the foreground boat, which now shows less movement due to a long

exposure. The exposure and f/stop can't be fixed, but I was able to

tinker with the boat in CS4. Thanks all for your advice. Your further

comments are appreciated.

Hi Larry-Went back & forth between this one & the First Light image & decided this was slightly better, the cloud behind the bridge sees slightly brighter. It is a very relaxing & peaceful image to sit & enjoy. After viewing your images we regret we never visited this area of B.C .Best Regards_Ross

Larry, I've tried going back and forth, but I think I need to see them side-by-side to see the differences.  I think the fog and the boat on the right might be brighter.  But for me both are wonderful images, and you were so fortunate to have a layer of fog behind the bridge.  Imagine if the bridge had been set against the mountain in the distant background....the fog makes all the difference (right place at the right time).

I recognize that magical lighting that slips obliquely through clouded skies and makes boats and moorings simply glow. The bridge is a great"hand of man" structural element that adds detail interest that keeps the viewer engaged. Without the bridge, this would be just another average photo of clouds, water and mountains. I also like the lone man in the small sailboat relegated to the corner of the photo; It creates the sense of smallness and aloneness in a still where even the railroad bridge is devoid of activity.  Well seen and well done.

Hi Sandra,   Thanks for looking at this image.  Your comments are right on.  I really enjoyed your re-enactment battle photos.  Larry
