this Deven have a cleft lip and mostly of the high type that extends to his palate,I advice to do reconstructive surgury for him as soon as his condition permits,cause this mal formation will affect his nursing and later on his quality of talk,I hope and wish for him a good and fine recovery.

His first surgery is scheduled for May 2nd. From there, he will have eight more surgeries in the next sixteen years. Thank you for your comment.

I like this image...for a number of reasons...first it is technically very nice...great lighting, and very nice non-distracting background/setup.  Who doesn't love pictures of babies peacefully sleeping.  More importantly to show the world that being different physically is not a limitation...let us not judge others by the standards for which the world pretends is acceptable.  Thanks for sharing this portrait...and I wish you could update this image from time to time.  Regards.

Deven just had his 2nd surgery and is doing wonderful - in fact, from what I hear, he just started rolling over. They put it a temporary palate and will continue to do so for the next 16 years of his life. Thanks so much for the comments...
