I have removed and reposted the photo, because of a comment that had no reason to be there .. most people understand that the subjects in our photos do not want to read personal remarks about themselves of this nature, even if some claim that by posting we give others the right to say what they want. Sure, but I still like to believe that we address ourselves to fellow photographers on this site, gentlemen, ladies come to that too.

The model is tall and thin, and the pose accentuates the long legs. She is however perfectly porportioned with an ideal Body Mass Index (that is why she is a succesful model!), this is a measurable entity and not one subject to people's fantasies.

As an environmental nude this works quite well. Like many of your photographs, you get the feeling that you are visiting the model at home just hanging around doing her thing. The pose is a bit unusual but helps emphasize her long limbs.

We have discussed the issue of personal comments about our models before, John. I periodically attend meetings of a group of photographers here in New Jersey. Part of this is an image critique where participants can put up work and have the other comment. The big rule of the group is that the discussion must be on the IMAGE first. This sounds like a good guideline here.

Nothing new, great luxurious B&W tones, special pose, maybe a little bit unusual for you, the same environment which you always accomplish good composition well with! Technically perfect as I can see on such a small size!

You got the pose, her leg positioning, and her expression just right on this John, but then, I wouldn't expect anything less from you!

I don't know what the unacceptable comment that you or your model received (presumably something about about her figure, judging from your response), but let me say this as encouragement... I think she has the absolute perfect figure, and I would choose her body type (the waifish, small-breasted figure) over any other every time.  And not just for photography!

I personally get so tired of the "all men love big boobs and meaty bodies" stereotype out there.  Some of us just simply don't feel that way.

Nuff' said.  Anyway, an excellent job as always John, at bringing out the very best of your already top-notch model(s)!  Kudos to you both!

Thank you my friend, I appreciate that,  but this is really not about our preferences, it's about photography. 

You are correct of course John, but I also think it's good for women to know that not all men (and women for that matter) think alike, and that many actually prefer her body type.  In fact, she has the figure of a top fashion model - and could probably easily be one - that most women would die for.
