paulpluskwik 0 Posted April 16, 2011 this is a photo I took while visiting my moms grave site in the winter in northern Minnesota and was treated to a beautiful sunset. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted April 16, 2011 This is quite striking, especially because of the trees on either side. Symbolically, they can be seen as forming a portal to the heavens beyond. I think you've handled the range of light quite nicely -- it's appropriately underexposed, but just to the right amount. Very nicely done. Link to comment
samschnieders 1 Posted April 17, 2011 Paul, I see this as an inspirational photo. I agree with Stephen in that the portal between the trees seems to open to the heavens. I'm sure this shot has special meaning for you. To me, this is one of the beautiful parts of photography - capturing a feeling and having it juxtapose with the real world and sometimes that which lies beyond. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted April 17, 2011 The mood is pleasant to me in spite of the character of the subject! The light in the distance tells something I think!Warm regards Paul!PDE Link to comment
