Hummingbirds

I saw today these two had fledged. Shorter lens, flash diffuser,

and not backlit seems to have solved the lighting issues.

Slightly hazy PM light. Comments, critiques appreicated.

Excellent image and crop.  Looks like they're going to split the nest apart if they stay much longer.

Thank you Alberta, Gregory and Steve.  The 35-100's (70-200 35mm equivalen) close focusing distance is 4.6 feet, so with tripod and lens and lens hood length:  pretty darn close.  Since the chicks are flying around near the nest now, I doubt they will be there much longer.
