Silk Cut II

A little more conventional than Silk Cut.

Feedback appreciated.

This is quite powerful, David. I know many of your images are humor based but this one has a much different sense. The blade cutting her panties speak of self cutting at one level and the pain of passion on another. The high technical quality allows the emotion to come out. Amazing!

Definitely more powerful than the cigarettes, I like the shot, but am wondering what the little red thing is at the bottom right hand of the image not that it is distracting, I am just nosey.

Mark, There was no attempt at humour here although I don't think it is too serious. However, if this image has evoked the thoughts in you, that you mention, I am quite humbled. Thanks a lot.

Giovanni, I am glad you stopped by. The image was inspired by the cigarette adverts of the 80s. (I think that is when they were.) That said, I am not one for promoting cigarettes. As for the little red thing... it is simply a chilli pepper that I use a signature. It does annoy a lot of people. I am glad it doesn't bother you. Thanks for the kind comments.

Hi David, what an idea, such a personal touch, I think I will start to put a piece of Pasta in my shots, it will be interesting to see how many people, will actually see it and comment. Brilliant !!!!

David, I have no idea what you might be trying say.  There is no purpose for the kniife on the woman's privates than you think it makes a nice photograph?

Ok.  No where close is relative in this instance.  I am a novice.  Have never thought of combining a large knife with a semi-nude woman, or anything else for that matter.  Thanks for your responses.
