davidmccracken 2 Posted April 12, 2011 A little more conventional than Silk Cut. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted April 13, 2011 This is quite powerful, David. I know many of your images are humor based but this one has a much different sense. The blade cutting her panties speak of self cutting at one level and the pain of passion on another. The high technical quality allows the emotion to come out. Amazing! Link to comment
gio 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Definitely more powerful than the cigarettes, I like the shot, but am wondering what the little red thing is at the bottom right hand of the image not that it is distracting, I am just nosey. Regards Giovanni.Btw a great portfolio of work, and your Bio is just excellent, Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 14, 2011 Mark, There was no attempt at humour here although I don't think it is too serious. However, if this image has evoked the thoughts in you, that you mention, I am quite humbled. Thanks a lot.Ilkka, Thanks.Giovanni, I am glad you stopped by. The image was inspired by the cigarette adverts of the 80s. (I think that is when they were.) That said, I am not one for promoting cigarettes. As for the little red thing... it is simply a chilli pepper that I use a signature. It does annoy a lot of people. I am glad it doesn't bother you. Thanks for the kind comments. Link to comment

spider71ko 0 Posted April 18, 2011 David, I have no idea what you might be trying say. There is no purpose for the kniife on the woman's privates than you think it makes a nice photograph? Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 19, 2011 Spider, If I am trying to say anything it is simply, 'Silk Cut.' The knife is no where near her privates. Thanks for stopping by, Link to comment
spider71ko 0 Posted April 19, 2011 Ok. No where close is relative in this instance. I am a novice. Have never thought of combining a large knife with a semi-nude woman, or anything else for that matter. Thanks for your responses. Link to comment
