I would bookmark this location, if possible, and return again in early summer as well as fall.  I think a foreground of tall grasses and weeds would be preferable to patches of snow; the bright, white areas are just too distracting.  The area has a lot of potential at the right time(s) of year.

Thanks again, Stephen, for stopping by and taking the time to critique these recent shots.  I was trying to use the curved lines of snow as leading lines to the cabin, but you are right that the bright areas of snow are a little distracting.  Like I said in my last reply on the Aspens image, I will be back in this area, and this summer sounds like a good time to revisit this cabin.  Take care, and thanks for your help.
