neighboring city.

Right time (including weather), right place, right framing (composition)! Brilliant photo indeed!

I've never tried stitching although my camera has that option and I can now see it can be extraordinary useful!

Your comment is very flattering, thank you. For this photo I waited for "the golden hour", when the exposure on the sky is roughly the same with the one for the ground, so I don't have to use a HDR technique as well. I think it turned out well and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

for me this image works because of the clouds and the lightsituation.
