Concept, composition, light....just everything put together perfectly, without losing the mystery. In stead, its movingly imaginative. Toast, Pierre!

the men wander off, the women left behind with the dogs, seeking them with empty eyes... the women find diversion in trinkets and adornments... a visually very pleasing composition, wonderful seascape

Every image of this series is a Novel and can make a wonderful movie, this is of no exception my friend, everything here is so well planned and arranged to from one superb and fine Artistical photograph.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

One should be a philosopher, an artist, poet and historian to produce an adequate comment on this immage, despite the fact I am neither of those I will join your friends that celebrate your new work. Volio bi da Brega jednom napravi album kojem bi ovaj rad odgovarao kao cover...

sweet Pierre... your blending of the contemporary  (the mannequin, the shaped floor tiles) and the ancient (the costumes, and the horseman leaving his wife behind to rule the roost, especially the plausible rendition of husband on land and sea... Odysseus?) is always strongly decipherable aesthetically and metaphorically. The relevance thru the ages and in the present... it is the destiny of either man or woman to hold the fort at home while the partner ventures out to war and expeditions. classic and eternal. also, requiring awesome painterly skill. bravo again, Pierre, for sheer energetic genius to render this message and historical fact. ;-} dp
