A very telling shot. I know how this happens but I still can't believe it. I guess it's by choice. Thanks for bringing reality  to PN. Excellent work.

Reminds me of "I Don't Understand", from last April.  There is pain here, real and human, and you captured it for others to see,  with no judgement.  I commend you for that.

Another very moving shot Bob, often such pain is below our radar by our own choice or by fortunate circumstance. Thank you for a timely reminder of our own good fortune, there but for the grace of God .....

You can see she is in torment, body language is fantastic, even the muscles in her neck are strained. Excelent image...wonder if it would have much more impack if you converted to black and white on this shot. Seeing images like this, you just want to help. Thanks

Sad composition. But this is life. We all can see, share our thoughts, talk about it but can't do anything. May be we don't try or we don't care/dare to do. Simply outstanding street shot.

All the best. Warm regards.

A very real and intense image of the suffering - you are the master of the street. Congrats. 6.

We live our lives for the most part, very fortunate. Sure we all have our problems and 'we suffer' through them.  But these are the people who 'slip through the cracks'. So many words could be used for this image and they all make me sad.  'Unwanted, Unloved, Lost, Hunger, Addiction, Memories that Haunt, In Ruin, .....' and still, they are not UNKNOWN in our Societies, but often are cast aside, hoping a Church or Social Agency will 'take up the slack'.

This image Bob, so much like many of your others is very touching. How one can view it and not be moved, or a little ashamed, is beyond me.  Sure we are not personally the cause of this woman's Grief, but just knowing it exists, and she clings to a wrought iron fence. I don't even want to think about what could happen to her at night. Once again you have brought us face to face with the 'realities' we 'see' but do not really SEE, at least well enough to do anything to change her miserable life.  Many will say perhaps she is one of the few that 'likes it that way'.....Somehow I doubt it. Thankyou for sharing this moving Photo Bob. Tops and My kindest regards, Gail

I use to work as a counselor in the Dade County jail and I encounter lots of homeless. Gail's words resonates with my feelings, I know they have their own path to follow and all, but I kind of get scared that it can happen to one of my daughters or a close love one. My friend's friend father was homeless for years and can not be rescue, he did not aloud it. The Violinist, with Jimmy Fox, does a great job, showing the complexity of the Mental Illenss process. Amazing great image my friend.
