On my New Mexico trip with Chris Harris, we arrived at White Sands

very close to sunset. We feared that we wouldn't have any clouds, as

most of the day was hot and cloudless. Then a storm started brewing in

the mountains and was slowing moving toward us and that is when I

captured this image.

Seeing this in the larger version brings out the beauty of this b&w landscape. The tones are excellent, the clouds dramatic and the white piece of sand on the middle right is very attractive. Great composition. Regards, Leo
