More Spring Ice

Artist: J.A. (Hadley);
Exposure Date: 2011:03:29 19:02:38;
ImageDescription: Tony Hadley , March 31, 2011; 06:01 P.M. The small orange piece of ice in the foreground was angled towards the horizon and was picking up the color from the horizon. I experimented with various camera heights until I saw the maximum effect. I think the tree limbs and the partial tree reflection in the ice brings an added value. What do you think?Tony Hadley , March 31, 2011; 06:03 P.M. Sidsel Tonnessen , March 31, 2011; 03:39 P.M.Tony, The light is radiant and the colours of your recent photos are amazing. Hopefully, the ice will now disappear and give way for spring light.SidselSidselThanks - the colors are due to the time of day (sunset in less than 10 minutes) and the use of a circular polarizer. You should try it.;
