This is 'The Kiss', taken during a 'street outing' with rather up close (24

mm). Your ratings, critiques and remarks are invited and most

welcome. If you rate or critique harshly or wish to add your remark,

please submit a helpful and constructive comment; please share your

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! John (Apologies to Gustav Klimt for the caption).

This photo is not razor sharp on purpose; it is part of its intended 'look'.

Not all photos, even on Photo.net, are meant to be 'sharp', as I feel that is not necessarily the sign of good photo in the proper circumstance.

This photo's 'look' was not obtained through image editing, however; it is 'natural'.

(You gotta read the Wickipedia article on Gustav Klim and 'Der Kuss' -- 'The Kiss', which I found MOST enlightening  - adults only).

and it is not about being unsharp. I just found this average in moment, interpretation and while I recently seek for really close portrayal, even with cut to heads, this one does not work for me.

I guess that's why they make vanilla, chocolate and sometimes strawberry.

You seem to be a 'black and white' kind of guy -- like or dislike -- positive or negative with little middle ground.

Thanks for stopping by.
