A very interesting image. The subject and its oddity makes the photo for me. As you specifically request, I tried to look for "something". Otherwise, I would just comment on the general impression and, if needed, some technicality. But, anyhow. To me, the composition is fine, no more sky needed, and on the contrary, the foreground is just enough to emphasize the main subject, the old train in the middle of the desert. If you had left more sky, you would probably loose the sense of vastness of the landscape. Now, because of the intense lighting and strong sunlight, it appears you had to do some burning and dodging. This is apparent in the train's smoke stack and the other round protuberance atop the tube. At least, I can see a halo around them. If you were looking for "perfection" you would have to deal with that. But again, I rather look at this strange photo and admire it, rather than demanding a technically perfect rendition. Hope this is what you were looking for.
