Owners of a commercial orchard in Geneva, NY, check their crop of

heirloom Baldwin apples, a variety that originated with a chance

seedling discovered around 1740 on a farm near what is now the town of

Wilmington, Massachusetts. During the last half of 19th century, the

Baldwin was ranked as the most popular apple in the U.S. The original

tree blew down in a storm in 1815; a granite monument marks the spot

pleasing composition... fine perspective and exposure... very good documentary - they're engrossed in their examination and the photographer may as well have not been there... great work, Bill.
