tonyfrench 0 Posted March 31, 2011 Pnina, Beautifully done. I like the light catching the element in the lower right, though I'm not sure what it is. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted March 31, 2011 Very good example when the overall appeal of the image comes completely from it's theme/idea rather than from the subject itself. Great stuff - compliments Pnina! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 31, 2011 This reminds me of a prison, the bleakness, the resolve, the longing to be outside and not in. I think the blur and glow add to the overall mystery of the shot quite nicely. I may like the second shot even better, although it doesn't have the obvious immediate impact of the first. LindaM 2 Posted March 31, 2011 The softness gives this an other-worldly feel to me. It is as if he is trying to move from one reality to another. Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted April 3, 2011 Hi Pnina,Having already shared my thoughts on this photo with you, suffice it to say here, very nice work, bold, outside the box and most evocative. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 5, 2011 Back on the job again after a needed vacation from pn. I see you haven't been that active yourself. I didn't comment on this picture before because I didn't quite know what to make of it. But after revisiting it, I have to agree with Jeff's earlier assessment. It feels like a picture of an inmate at a prison or mental institution, a sensation of being trapped within. Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted April 5, 2011 Hi Pnina, very difficult subject , my dear. Is a very appealing composition though. Very wise to put the book in the foreground. It gives a measure of depth. Congrats. DS. Link to comment
