Pnina, Beautifully done. I like the light catching the element in the lower right, though I'm not sure what it is.

Very good example when the overall appeal of the image comes completely from it's theme/idea rather than from the subject itself. Great stuff - compliments Pnina!

This reminds me of a prison, the bleakness, the resolve, the longing to be outside and not in.  I think the blur and glow add to the overall mystery of the shot quite nicely.  I may like the second shot even better, although it doesn't have the obvious immediate impact of the first.

The softness gives this an other-worldly feel to me. It is as if he is trying to move from one reality to another.

Hi Pnina,

Having already shared my thoughts on this photo with you, suffice it to say here, very nice work, bold, outside the box and most evocative.

Back on the job again after a needed vacation from pn. I see you haven't been that active yourself. I didn't comment on this picture before because I didn't quite know what to make of it. But after revisiting it, I have to agree with Jeff's earlier assessment. It feels like a picture of an inmate at a prison or mental institution, a sensation of being trapped within.

Hi Pnina, very difficult subject , my dear. Is a very appealing composition though. Very wise to put the book in the foreground. It gives a measure of depth. Congrats. DS.
