Spring Thaw, Ice formations on the cattail stem

This is a photo in March in northern Minnesota of ice formations from

the waves splashing up on thie cattail stem and freezing at the

temperatures remain at the freezing mark and creates lots of ice

formations along the shore line .

Nice eye to see this shot, Paul.  Really oddly shaped icicles.  Sharp with nice lighting and composition.  I also like the darkening along the top.
