mmdc 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Nice. Rare that a baby pic transcends being a snapshot. (to me, anyway.) Seems like a bit of cropping could add interest in this case, though. The face is *really* nicely lit. (Update - Yes - more powerful and focused with the extra trimming you did.) Link to comment
robbie_hochreiter 0 Posted February 9, 2003 I like this, the fence works to frame him, the blurred movement and the sharp focus on his face. I also like the colors. Original and interesting. Link to comment
eric_alper 0 Posted February 9, 2003 not a typical portrait, but I thought the action of this shot was interesting. I would appreciate any feedback about composition, cropping, etc. Thanks Link to comment
james_b._smith 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Wonderful look on the childs face! I probably would have cropped it tighter on the right side, but nice picture! Link to comment
james_davison 0 Posted February 10, 2003 I disagree about using a faster shutter speed...the colour in the fence and the light is great, and would have been ruined with less exposure. The motion is great, too. Looks like the movement of an adult. I also like the crop, showing the motion of the snow behind him. Link to comment
vincetylor 0 Posted February 12, 2003 I like the blurred action. Get this kid some hot chocolate. Very nice capture. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted February 12, 2003 I just commented on another of your photos (with the hangers) and this one is much, much better. I conveys a moment for you and is meaningful to outsiders. What I really like here is the frenzied motion combine with his still, intent gaze. Note: I think the slow shutter speed is what makes it work. Link to comment
linda_hudson 0 Posted February 18, 2003 Makes me smile. Busy little one, eh? I like the way you captured the action! Link to comment
cspoels 0 Posted February 23, 2003 children are so wonderful for there level of involvement in what they are doing. so intense. I'm not fully satisfied with the composition of this one. I realize that the negative space behind the figure is necessary to see the movement of the thrown snow, but I'd almost like to see this from a different angle, more behind perhaps. Link to comment
