This girls were very shy, I didn't have the chance of a second shot for the more "environmental" portrait that you're suggesting. So I went for the more simple and safe shot on the unique chance I had.

Being from Zacatecas myself, I know how difficult it is to get so close to anyone who lives in a rural area and take a decent photograph of them. You not only got close, you managed to take an awesome photograph. Very well done! Beautiful expression! Perfect angle! (Had to kneel for this one)I commend you for your forethought. I Love the diagonal line caused by the main subject up-close with her friend a little further back. Excellent cropping tooafter-the-fact I presume?

In fact this is the original version, no cropping, no color saturation. Only the frame with my sign.

Love it Nestor, just beautiful. Makes me wish I were in Real de Catorce right now instead of miserable Playa del Carmen! BTW, the colors are far from oversaturated, and least on this monitor.
