Polemic/not mathematical demonstrated! Its for the demonstration of under estimated riscs only. If we assume: we will have after 12. 500 years  an accident of a nuclear power station, all stations are in the same condition, and only one will have an accident than the next: 12. 500 years: 500 stations= 25 years/station!!
Während der Demonstration trat (und tritt jetzt noch So. 27.03.2011) mit radioaktiv strahlenden Partikeln belastetes Wasser in Japan aus. Dies ist nicht zu stoppen. Nachfolgende Betrachtung ist polemisch und nicht mathematisch korrekt! Wenn wir der Einfachheit halber mal annehmen, dass ein solcher Unfall nur aller 12 500 Jahre pro Kraftwerk auftreten könnte und jedes Kraftwerk gleichberechtigt ist: 12. 500 Jahre : 500 Kraftwerke = 25 Jahre/Kraftwerk!!

A lot of peoble are waking up: asking questions to the politicians and

companies. Please listen to the experts - engineers and scientists - too!

"die strahlende Wirkung des Unbekannten" (the beaming/radiating unknown) is a perfectly suiting representation of the topic - even funny if the topic wasn't that serious. Reminds me of old films of nuclear weapon test when for a short moment the flash overshines everything.

Found a similar thought like your not strictly scientific calculation here: http://www.faz.net/-01qpza (see section 7 fo the article  - published today...) - the author is comparing probability of nuclear accidents with probability of winning in a lottery (which is incredibly low, but still people win...).

the post processing is suitable fot this topic. well done.

the power policy is a very complex issue. only if people could accept a lower GNP growth and some inconvenience in everyday life, i think the nuclear power will still go on, and take the risk and damage of its consequence. the most innocent maybe is the animal and plant, or mother earth. time maybe is the only solution, if we still have.

This is truly a thought-provoking area. We cannot go against scientific advancement but at the same time we should rationally think about the end results. We should be really sure that our scientific endeavors might not go against ourselves in future. I’ve come to know from newspapers that in Germany, many people are raising their voices against enhancement of nuclear power and they are getting strong political footings. I like the image. The colors, subjects, and processing.

The politics... I don't know. I haven't got a set opinion on this, but it a serious subject.
