The yellows strike me as very, very bright, but I don't know what you actually saw.  I've seen neon green moss in Iceland that no one in the U.S. would believe.

Stephen, I don't remember either, but I do remember it was so striking that I stopped between racing from bird to bird, and shot these three no-name trees. Maybe it was more red and less yellow, but that would be even less believable.

Indraneel, that made me smile, because one of the biggest problems I have when processing a RAW file is trying to remember what the scene actually looked like?  How green was that green?  How much haze was there in that landscape?  How warm were the colors?  In the end I 1) make my best guess, and 2) make the scene feel like I remember feeling.  Without a color transparency with neutral film, that's the best we can do.
