I'm no expert in these kind of shots, but I do think the near bar is a distraction IMHO.

I left that bar in, as I suspected that leaving it out would leave the photographer suspended in the air....

But that's a matter ofoth taste & seeing the world - which is all very subjective.

That's my two cents.
