Actually shot on PAN 400 - very grainy emulsion.

Here`s another try at a grainy photo - for this subject it seems to

me that it works - perhaps is the form of the grain that i don`t

like - should have used hp5+ or tri x instead!

WOW! You are so lucky! I wish I can work in such location :) Great atmosphere, unlimited possibilities!

This has a certain surrealness to it; naked women standing atop a tower parapet, with mask and sword. I bet it would give the other tourists a start to walk up and find this in their midst. I like the grain in the shot, but I think it could stand a tad more contrast. Interesting concept.

I'm not a big fan of high speed grain. Grain was something that we had to put up with when we couldn't afford enough flash bulbs. Now, film is better, flash is better, cameras are better. Otherwise, great picture. It must be nice to have a castle.

A much delayed comment.

I like the idea, and the contrast between the butch figure that the warrior presents versus the more effeminate arms and legs of the woman at her feet. There are two things that bother me, however:

a) The mask looks out of place, and while it adds to the surreal feeling that white splotch amidst all the greys break the image for me; and

b) The way the warrior holds her sword, almost leaning on it and softly holding it by the end, just screams "prop". A more definite grip on the weapon would have made her look more like the part.
