Incomplete

The luminance of the colors is quite nice and the dock leading in draws the eye.  However, the dock being close to the center of the picture detracts from the picture and is bore to the eye.  Consider in the future placing the subject away from the center.

I think the near central composition works really well, and the broken jetty it's a great find and anything but a "bore" In fact if there  was any alteration I would move it even closer to central as it draws the viewers eyes through the changing colours of the water and beyond. The rule of thirds  is not a rule at all, merely a guide  that should be challenged often and pushed to the boundaries.
