Yes, the colors are very bright, and that works for me. The shaded area in the foreground works for my taste too. Because there are no details that you wanted to be bright, rather it is like a flat surface painted in dark blue that makes the sand and the yellow grass as a composition very dynamic and homogenous too.

I liked the complementary colors, the compositon and also the dark foreground. All fitting in this peaceful scene.

I would be happier with a bit larger image size to fully appreciate the image. I doubt whether the frame (especially the thick gray part) contributes to your presentation.

Sometimes a shadow in the immediate foreground works just fine, but I think those are relatively rare events.  I'm a bit ambivalent about this one, but I think it would probably be better without the shadow.  However, trying to find a composition that avoids the foreground shadow at this particular spot would be very difficult because of the arrangement of the grasses on the left.  The colors are excellent.

Well, I have nothing to add regarding the colors that has not already been written...

Nobody has commented about the noise in the upper part of sky. Easy to get rid of here since it's separate from the rest of the image. Surface Blur set to 6/6 would completely remove any unevenness up there. Then you would paint black on your layer mask over the remainder of the image so the detailed parts don't get smudged by the aggressive SB routine.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and suggestions. Replaced with larger version and less noise (microcontrast) in the sky (an oversight on my part). Also no gray border :)
