Gaetan, your images of Old Quebec City during this time of gentle falling snow are just magical. They make me wonder how I ever could complain about the long winter. One day I hope to visit this place myself and see first hand this beautiful place. Hopefully, while recalling the 'magic' you captured, my visit will be so much more meaningful!!

Many thanks for this scene of Winter Wonderland! Kind regards, Gail

Very well done photo taken in very difficult conditions. Winter would be beautiful if I didn't have to get out home... :-)

WARM regards.

Marvelous!! I remember that picturesque street very well, as I was on it just a few months ago (albeit sans snow!). C'est manifique!

Ha les joies de l'hiver! Ça me manque, mais je me passe bien de déneiger la voiture avant d'aller au travail!

you've presented the city as it is in its classic winter, Gaetan,... astonishingly beautiful and breathlessly overwhelming! it's might and danger is made so realistic by the walker in the street...vous etes un people solide! ;-} dp

It could be a scene from a Dickens novel if it wasn't for a few tell tale signs.  But it really does encapsulate all that is winter in the city, and the huddled figure in the foreground really brings it all to life!

Sincere Compliments!

Arturo, thank for your comment. Yes it is not easy to take snowy photo. You must protect the camera and it is cold to your hand. Also great snowflake are not frequent.

Gail,

Quebec city is a great place to visit in winter. Our snow season last from december until March and the snow stay on the ground during those months.

Jack,

Yes not easy to take winter photos when it is cold. To have a chance to take that kind of photos, I walked outside during the winter season (December to March)  at least one hour per day and for 5 days a weak.

Warren,

This place is really magical during winter season. They put special decorations especially during Christmas and winter carnival time.

Line,

Donna,

Thank you for your comment. Yes winter is a difficult season, but it offers great occasions to take special photos for the patient photographers.
