On my usual run to the grocery store, I snapped a few flower shotsusing my Lumix LX5 Point&Shoot in the macro mode.

 

Added a vintage later in LR3.

A very pleasant result of your Photoshop efforts Arnav. The viginetting adds a soft touch to the outer edges while we still see those  beautiful yellow and orange/red hues of the petals themselves.  Very nice Macro shot.  Kindest regards, Gail
