Beautiful image of the Hummingbird Tim, stunning. Overall, there is a battle for attention between the out of focus foreground and the beautifully rendered bird. It's both a luminosity/color and proportion issue and I'm not sure how to resolve/minimize it. Love that detail and tonal range on that bird though.

Edit: The more I look at it, the more I believe a slight left side crop to remove the closed flower will result in a more pleasing color line toward the bird from the lower left upward.

Thanks Randall! I have the same thought and rather that the flower were

sharp but  on the shot that the flower were sharp the bird was only halft sharp (the upper half). :-)

Beautiful details and exposure. I like the splash of yellow.  Excellent details on the hummer.  I can't wait spring is here in NJ and the hummers will be back soon.  Well Done   Gail
