Simple yet dynamic. My eyes switch constantly between the two focal points, the windows and the birds. For me that is the strength of this picture.

Lovely pattern image. The birds add a surreal quality that really sets this image above other pattern images.

A sincere thank you to all who have commented thus far!  the only regret I have about the picture is that it was taken from approximately a 30 degree angle, and so...I  was forced to either level the picture horizontally, or straighten the verticals. I agree that the birds (gulls) "make" the picture. The photograph is of a section of a large dam, thus...lots of gulls that feed at it's base.  I shot several frames of this scene, but this one was the only one that captured the birds in a distinguishable form.  No one has mentioned it, but I feel the "whiter" colored rectangle at bottom left serves to balance the image. Thanks again!  - John
