Please know that we hold nuns (and the services to society that they

perform) in very high regard, and that this is in no way meant to be

interpreted as a disparaging statement.

This series is about a very young and beautiful Nun who still has

tinglings down there that she still satisfies in her own private time.

First, I do not respond to anonymous commenters or voters.  If you don't have the guts to identify yourself, then you don't deserve a response!

Spider Seventy One:  Kudos for having the guts to identify yourself!  The purpose?  First of all, this is art, not a religious statement.  Second, if there's a statement at all - and I hate to put interpretations in the viewer's heads, as I like to leave it to them to arrive at their own - is that it shows that even nuns are human too.  We all have weaknesses and we are all sinners, IMHO.

As a photographer might be invited in to document anyone else in their private and intimate time - as many have - this is the concept here.

I truly can relate to and appreciate anyone who might initially be offended at this presentation and series.  I was offended at that old "piece of art" in the past called "Piss Christ."  I just couldn't, and frankly still have a hard time placing that concept in the realm of art.

I was equally offended at one of the contributer's images on here who often submits images of beautiful nude women on the cross.  While I still have a hard time with it, is he not expressing something that he feels he needs to?  Some concept he might be grappling with?  Is it fair to pigeon hole his intentions, and even beliefs, without first allowing ourselves time to consider these possibilities?

At the "high risk" of starting a finger-pointing session - which I honestly don't want to do, nor will I engage in - I am personally a very religious person.  However, I am also a pragmatist, realizing that we all have weaknesses.  None of us are above them, again, IMHO.

That said, there is nothing more to this series of images than that.

It is none of my business what a nun does in her private times.  That someone finds it interesting to look at a nun or anyone else masturbating, that is none of my business either.

I like most of your work and wish I had your photographic talent.

Spider Seventy One... Flattery will get you everywhere my friend!  I suppose it could look like I'm somewhat anynomous with my name, huh?  Actually, my site can easily be found by using tags on Google or any other search engine.  But in case you have any trouble, you can find it at:  http://michaelcline.photography.com.  Thanks again for the compliment and I hope you enjoy it.  Keep shooting... practice (and study) makes perfect.  And when you get there, please let me know, because I'm still striving for it!  Take care!

If you don't want critiques offered anonymously, turn it off.

I only came back to see what people were saying and your replies.  This photo is not art.  It is an attack on a group of women who dedicate themselves to service to God.  You have taken it and defiled them.  You are using nuns in a very vile and degrading way.

It doesn't matter who I am, it is who you are and what you are passing as photographic art.
