Her face is out of focus. It looks like focus is on her hands - I don't think that was the idea.

Sandee,

I have to agree with Ziggy. You did not focus on her eyes. They should be in critical focus.

She does have a nice smile and good eye contact with the camera (viewer).

The background is nicely out of focus and she is well separated from it. The back/side lighting on her hair is very nice. The highlights in her hair look good. They help to separate her from the background. There is quite a bit of light hitting the side of her face. That is acceptable, but not the spill on her tip of her nose. The left (her right) side of her face by her chin should have more even lighting -- not streaks.

Her pose is nice. The compositional balance is very good. I like the position of her hands. I do think her head is tilted too much and too far forward. I think she would look better if her head was straighter and some of her neck was showing. Her head looks scrunched down into her body.

Her body would look thinner, more feminine, graceful and elegant if if was turned at more of an angle to the camera.

There is a little yellowish tint to her face and chest. Her arms and hands have a slight reddish tint -- very slight.

Be careful of where you place her catchlights. They are below the center of her pupils. There would look better above the center of her pupils on her irises.

Nice shot,

Mark
