Halo Hat

Please view "larger." I captured this haloed image of Mt. Rainier - 70 miles

away - from the 14th floor of my hotel room in Tacoma, WA. This is the

last of a series of shots taken just before dark. Known to the indians as

Tahoma, Mt. Rainier is reputed to be especially revered when wearing its

haloed hat. As always, I value your comments.

I wonder how many thousand times I saw this same scene when I lived in the Northwest. There is weather coming in.

Given your shooting circumstances you have produced a very good result which looks even better when viewed larger.
