This is a page I've been working on through the night, unable to sleep,

my Mom in hospital again, very worrysome time last 2 days, but am

positive she will pull through just nicely and be home again where we

can enjoy her company more. These images are scans that I've altered

mainly to correct as they are old, but my Dad took them many, many,

years ago. The Photo on the right is one that I always loved because

people always thought Mom looked like Teresa Brewer who was first

famous in the 50's for songs that some may remember, Music, Music,

Music, You Send Me, Put Another Nickel In, Old Fashioned Girl, to

name just a few. The shot of my brother and I with Mom and Dad on

the Sofa I could not do much with. My parents could have only been

about 23-24 years old then. I recall that apartment, remember the sofa,

and flushing one of my dolls down the toilet......I was not in her good

books for that one, nor the Hairdresser whose Shop was below us.

Ahhh, she was a miserable woman anyways, perhaps there was a

reason I did such a terrible thing? Maybe to remind her that she

had 'better days' to be thankful for ? No matter what excuse I can think

of, my poor tired Mom certainly didn't need that woman screaming at

her because of me. It is times like these that I recall what a lucky little

girl I was to have such a loving Mom.....While I wrapped my arms

around her feverish body in the hospital the other evening, and prayed

that God would hold her safe, in the palm of His hand, like a wee small

bird in a nest, I realized once again what it is for Life to come Full

Circle. Indeed now it is time for me and my siblings to give her the

loving care that she so freely gave to us as we were growing up.

Thanks Mom.....(those words will never truly be enough). {Thanks for

viewing, Gail}

Gail, your mom will be proud of you. Filial piety is a blessing which all Chinese family believe in. And you are a fine example.

I agree with others. She loved you all, and all of you love her. She is surrounded by your love ,like a protection, and helps her to  endure her ordeal.

Emotive and touching tribute to your Mom, Gail ... I´d like to know English better just to express how deep your words touched my feelings ... Be sure that both of you will be present in all my prays. No ratings today ... just thank you

My deepest appreciation for those lovely words Ricardo. She is loved so very much, and I know whatever happens she will be one more star in the night sky one day.  I had a reason, just so you know, to ask for ratings, it was not for my personal thoughts of 'gain'....I cannot find the right word, it was so it would be seen more, I thought the more Prayers I could solicit on her behalf, they would be heard in Heaven.  There is a verse in the Bible "Whenever two or more of you are gathered together...."  with my friends on PN interceding on her behalf, my hopes were that she would be comforted.  Thankyou for noticing this composition and sending your best for my Mom, respectfully yours, Gail

You have a heart that reaches out to others, and the love of beautiful images that we all share.  It is such a blessing to have such friends on PN, the are so many facets of life....the happiness when we share the photo of a beautiful wee once that has first opened it's eyes in this world and been gazed upon by loving parents and families....and then we watch as grandparents eyes begin to  become dimmer, and remember all they have done throughout the years for our families, as with our parents. The circle of family, if we are blessed with it, can be so strong at times like this.  Here I have my PN family....and they are so kind.  My sincere thanks, Gail

You say such nice things, but truly I am only being 'me' but I am glad to know there are those who find me a friend.  I try to return other's kindness's (for there are truly many here on PN), if I can, it is a way of life I suppose.  I do appreciate you thinking of my Mom, she sure can use the prayers right now.  Thankyou Holger for your thoughtfulness. My sincere thanks,Gail
