deb1 0 Posted March 10, 2011 My granddaughter Jade is the MOST wonderful gift I've ever been given. I must have done something right in my life to be this blessed. Please share your thoughts... deb Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 11, 2011 She has gotten so grown up so fast, Deb. This is a very pretty portrait of a young girl out being a girl. You have captured a moment that will bring you and the rest of her family joy for many years. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 265 Posted March 11, 2011 She IS a fancy lady! But, alas, underexposed?! Maybe not, I wish I could see it larger and to give a reliable judgment!Cheers Deb!PDE Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks for your comments. Yes, she has grown so much this year. She will be five next month. She makes my heart smile!I always have dress up clothes and accessories for her at my house that I find at garage sales or resale shops. She wanted to be a fancy lady so she put all this together and wanted to walk her "puppy" outside on the sidewalk. It was all quick and candid moments so the setting may not be perfect, but that moment sure was!deb Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks for your comments. Yes, you are correct with your observation as it was indeed an underexposed shot The moment unfolded so quickly all I could do was shoot and hope for the best. I love candid moments like this so much but I don't always have time to adjust my settings. She makes my heart smile and I wish the camera could use the light that comes from that smile as I feel it lighting up all around me. :)deb Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted March 13, 2011 Very nice, tender moment shot! a bit dark but with a little contrast or level adjustment and a bit of sharpening it would be even better, I think. TFS! Link to comment
