It's nice to see something new in your portfolio! Great light, details and B&W work. I like the model's expression and the lines of her face, hair and left shoulder. The earring too, because it represents verticality as the thumb and the ponytail. Fingers are arranged in an original yet delicate way. What I don't really like is the brightness on the right shoulder and its slightly dislocated appearance because of the ponytail making a separation with the rest of the trunk and because of the position of the right hand. I think I would crop the image to get rid of the right shoulder. That would give justice to the beauty of the rest of the image!

All in all very well done! I'm looking to see more shots of that kind.

These ladies are very beautiful and all but bring back my favorite lady.You said you could make it happen. ;^)

Tore, I really like the closed eyes of the model, the lines of the ponytail and the earring, and the hand on the shoulder/thumb to the mouth. The black and white treatment is perfect.

Although I am not well versed in Black and white, I am familiar with your beautiful and varied portrati shots.  I remember you and Jill V used to enjoy each other's work, I miss her.  I find this composition to be very well done. Everything from the pose to the jewellery accents.  She has lovely bone structure and you  have accentuated it quite beautifully in this shot.  Your work with shadow and light is very becoming.  That is yet another area I have yet to study.  Nice work Tore!  My sincere regards, Gail

Excellent work! Well done with light flow, composition, as well as choice  of B&W type.

A wonderfully expressive portrait with highlights that help to focus attention on the face. A powerful portrait, bravo. 

This is a very different portrait, I like the downcast eyes and the thoughtful pose. It conjures up a brooding kind of atmosphere that is entirely at home with the B & W tones.
