This is  great sight gag, and, like most really good ideas, its essential element is very simple (i.e. rotate the pic 90 degrees).

I really like the surreal element to it.  It looks like she is facing a firing squad of fish.  My only quibble (and it is a very minor one) is that I had to look twice to realise that they were fish and not sticks, but, either way, the essence of the gag remained intact.
