corbin 0 Posted March 11, 2011 Very good processing and toning. Looks like a print from the Civil War! Link to comment
color 3 Posted March 12, 2011 Good job John. It has a good combination of an antique look and antique subject matter. Good comp too. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted March 14, 2011 Thank you very much, Chuck. I can't tell you how difficult it was to get any kind of shot of the fort without having tourists in Hawaiian print shirts in the frame! lol While the fort is certainly an immensely interesting place to visit...it's difficult to grasp what it once was, because most of it was destroyed...and all we have left is a rather vague looking shellsof it's former self. Good to hear from you...John Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 16, 2011 You've managed to come up with a Mathew Brady photograph. I guess you were aware of that. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted March 16, 2011 Jack, While I don't think Brady's name came to mind as I was working on this picture...that's the look I was going for! I'll take your comment as a compliment. After all, you could have said it looks like something your Aunt Edna had taken! :) Link to comment
