eastern sierra Eastern Sierra Frosting

My 1st visit to the Sierra was for the cross country skiing near

Mammouth, but the real photo ops. seemed to be in the Bishop area. A

still and chilly morning in the valley. Your thoughts, comments or

suggestions welcome.

Holy Christmas Harry!!! OMG, this is the bomb! Wow! Sure, you jump over the whole country to my backyard and catch one that is totally rockin!! Harry, I think this is extraordinary. Now, why it isn't the first image on the first page is puzzling. It should be. I say this cause I know it. So so good. Well done as always! BTW, I give it a 7 because it is just that, 7 all the way!

Really, this is the best landscape in over a month!

Beautiful photograph. I like the subtle hues, and the many textures. The river is so peaceful in this inviting and interesting landscape.

Thanks evertone for such nice comments.  Mark, You have a very nice backyard! I am envious.  I wish you could do a better job with your trimming of shrubs around the river, a bit more work than I anticipated to find open views with interesting FG.  A real treasure in this valley, the backcountry looks so inviting.  Maybe when things melt a little!
