This is the center of a Century plant, from where the new leaves

sprout. I was taken by the flowing lines and the blue and green

coloring. I admit that the colors are bit exaggerated, which came

about by a rather steep curves layer. My first instinct was to change

the blend mode to Luminosity to remove the color shift, but then I

decided that it suited the overall feeling of the composition.I used a

couple of gradient layers at the bottom to further the attention to

the lighter areas.I think it has an abstract feel but at the same well

founded in reality. Comments are always welcome.

Woo-Hoo!  This is spectacularly cool!  Excellent composition and color palette, and the PBing really turns into a gorgeous work of abstract art.  Very nice work, Leo!  Cheers!  Chris

I like this take on the Century.  Your "Light of the Century" has been in my favorites folder for quite a while.  You have a way of capturing this beautiful plant.

I love the flow of this image.  the leaves all seem to flow into the center and the colors are lovely.  Very calming to view.  Thanks for sharing this image.

Nicely done.  Colors are remarkable and like what I would call the molten look of the leaves.  Excellent post production ( as always!)
