stp 6 Posted March 11, 2011 The leaning tower of Hong Kong? Yes, it's unusual, but personally I've never understood the tilting of a camera to make a usual photo more unusual. My son does it, and he can't explain it any further than that. I've asked the question several times, and only once did I receive a reply. The photographer imagined himself flying through that landscape, and he wanted to recreate that feeling. That made sense. Perhaps that was your thought as well. Or maybe it was just to try to add "something" to a B&W scene where the lighting is quite flat. Link to comment
