GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 8, 2011 An extremely sunny evening in August of 2008, the air was still, and I just felt the need for 'speed'. Well in my small world, a drive in the country in my little Tiberon, shifting a few gears, the wind in my hair....man was I living dangerously!! :-} I found myself at a little harbour, Newcastle by name, and to my delight a little 4 year old was fishing with her Dad. She was so amicable and chatty. Dad took her fishing every evening he could. (This really touched me, not all Dad's would be so attentive). I enjoyed a few hours with them and some other folk who had made this their 'regular' evening destination. The bright sun was shining right in her face, and perhaps I should have used my flash as it was difficult for me to edit, but I finally figured it was time to post. Worthy, because of what a serene and pleasant time I had enjoyed. (Thanks for viewing, Gail) Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Very cute. As you know, the Mrs. does scrapbooking, and I'm sure she'd be delighted with your layout, especially the little fish in the left bottom corner. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 9, 2011 What a nice portrait the lighting is just right the back gound bur allows for focus on the subject ... the post process work and insert creates a nice momento of the outtting. You continue to keep a postive spin on all your work and a nice flare to show the good things that we all experience... Nice shot and fun to keep connnected with you through your images... Michael R Freeman 63 Posted March 23, 2011 I'm not sure the inset photo of the fish really adds anything to the photo, but the story you posted with this image is absolutely delightful and warms the heart. A well needed reminder of what really matters in this crazy messed up world. Thanks so much for sharing. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 21, 2011 I'm glad you enjoyed the story, the fish I added probably more for personal reasons. She was so proud of her Dad for catching this fish, and it flopped about the dock so much she giggled with delight. I probably should have added that.Thankyou for your visit and comments, I do appreciate them so much.Kindest regards, gail Link to comment
