For me, I can not even imagine that I can carry my camera in such climate.

It's really a wonderful atmosphere as well as the great composition and details. I liked very much.

thanks a lot, Museeb. with some winter hiking clothes its not that big deal. but indeed while taking photos my hands almost froze even with gloves because of the windchill. the camera probably liked it, no sensor heating here ;)

Another great capture from you!

I really like the effect of the windblown snow in the foreground, as as it goes down the slope, it carries the viewer's eye with it. The frozen trees make a great central element in the frame and the clouds on top create plenty of atmosphere to complete to scene.

Lovely work!

Good diagonal composition with great depth.  The lines in the foreground leads the eye down the slope, then the line of trees takes us into the distance. Beautiful light too.

Exceptional, evocative and expressive! The textures in the snow make for an interesting foreground, the snow blasted trees beyond hold my interest and the cloud laden mountains in the distance add mystery. My only minor disapproval, quite minor, is the cloud that has parked in the middle of the sky. I would like to see it more right or left as a counter point, but who can say whether that cloud ever became positioned where I would like it to be anyway. Of course, I'm always going to point something out. No matter how good a photograph, hopefully something can be learned. Very difficult to offer much advice with this masterpiece!

Beautiful winter landscape. The texture in the snow is terrific. Nice colors give a real winter sensation. Lovely!

You seem to have mastered the art of the detailed foreground to a high point of excellence and provided a well balanced and atmospheric image from the trees to the gradually diminishing visibilty of the misty mountains beyond. No faults to find.

Excellent work 7

Gorgeous work Zsolt! Superbly detailed foreground, subtle lighting, and a lovely air of mystery courtesy of the low lying cloud. Excellent stuff!

All the best,
Neil

This is superb.  The foreground is very striking, and it fits so well with the notion of a winter storm that is so evident in the background.  Mark made a point about the single cloud parked in the sky, but to my eye that helps to break up what would otherwise be a relatively uniform (and therefore perhaps not as appealing) gray sky.  At the same time, I can also see the beauty of having the mountains rise out of and fade back into that uniform gray, so my mind goes both ways on that particular element.

So beautiful and impressive shot! F/G detailed elements are very suitable and effectively leads view to misty and dreamy b/g vista, so nicely framed and composed. Everything work here. Bravo.

Hamid.
