I'll come down on the side which prefers the B&W version.  The photo somehow seems 'purified' when desaturated.  I'd also opt for a tad more room at the bottom between the sculpture and the edge of the frame, an easy cloning solution if you happen to agree.  Museums and art galleries often have other objects in the background which clutter the image one is attempting but it seems you lucked out with a clear area between the sculpture and the window.  Luck is good!  Best, LM.

this place is like an open museum, many of the sculptural exhibits are displayed on its extensive and well-landscaped grounds... this exquisite exhibit was so perfectly placed in a kind of covered porch... in the morning i had found it totally in shadow and didn't even venture into the area... by mid-afternoon the light had moved in... i walked around it and discovered this viewpoint... like he was paying obeisance to the light... i chose to keep minimal space at the bottom and more above... thanks for dropping in... i look forward to your always helpful comments
