Raymond, I think that this picture came out of a mistake with your continuous shooting, the pair in the back is (the same pair, of course) exposed with the available light because your flash wasn't ready to fire and the pair in the front is exposed with the flash right next to the first shot! It looks like that to me, that is! However, the picture looks great, I like the framing by the way!

Almost correct my friend but it was not a mistake and was made this way with intent. A 4 second exposure with the studio strobes freezing the more solid looking figures and the modeling lights creating the ghosts during the rest of the exposure. The models moved and then froze in place after the strobes fired. Thank you for the kind words!
