As feeding time approached this young cub (in the water) got in its

mum’s way as she was pacing along the fence line. Needless to say mum

wasn’t happy

This is a good shot. I liked the texture of wet tiger however I did not like the dark tone. It looks so manipulated. I would crop the top part.

I love this shot !!  The black background (even though extensive) really works for me IMO.  Certainly excellent technically.  Great subjects.

Excellent work...

Great moments! Love this capture and treatment is spot on! Love the comp and dramatic light & colors accentuated by the wet tiger and both of them against the black.

thank you all for your comments. I certainly appreciate that the black background may not be to everyone's taste however as with all my animal shots these animals have been photographed is a zoo environment and with limited viewing access I wanted to omit, where possible, the  presence of man made structures and highlight the character of these magnificent animals

As I've already mentioned I love the black background. As few distractions as possible with these fantastic creatures to view.  Love your lighting, this shot in particular really shows off the beautiful body structure of the younger cub. Another beautiful additon to this series. My most sincere regards, Gail

Photoshop may be a "necessary evil", but what you do with it is anything but evil. Superb realization that emphasizes so much of the natural beauty of the animals, the water, the light. Simply inspiring.
