Thanks Dominick! Everyone got their own shooting style but I shoot manual mode most of the time and on a nice sunny day I start out with around 1/1250 & F8 & ISO 400. I dial up or down as lighting condition changes. Mostly, the f-stop is crucial for exposure (especially with white or black bird) and a bit of higher or lower SS won't make much different but it got to be fast enough to achieve what you need (frozen or slightly blur) ..ect. Happy .. birdshooting!
