Technically, this is a superb photo. Sharp, fantastic natural lighting, great composition, .....

Like looking in a mirror to me, Indraneel. In fact, this would be me with a full-blown smile.

Emotionally, please remember that what we look like is not necessarily who we are. I can curdle milk at 3 meters (maybe I should get a job at the cheese factory?) My point is that we often react to visual cues without considering that a person cannot fully control their expression and appearance.

My Dad often refers to me as a 'miserable jerk' and insinuates that I do not deserve the love of my wife of 33 years.  It actually helps me in some respects.  And he will be 90 in November. Time is precious.
